Merchandise Ordering
A handheld-based solution that gives the salesperson a mobile tool to look up
customer information and take orders at a remote location. A sales person walks down an aisle scanning barcodes using an integrated barcode scanner. The validated order is sent back to the home office in a real time or batch mode using telephone line or wireless connection. The collected orders are sent to the distribution center for faster order processing.
