The Code Reader™ 2600 (CR2600) is the next generation of bar code readers in Code’s product line. The CR2600 combines the patented feature rich technologies Code has become known for, in a new ergonomic design that sets a new standard in bar code reading technology.

The CR2600 is an easy to use, lightweight, and high performing bar code reader that reads all 1D and 2D bar code symbologies. The CR2600 is available in both palm and handled configurations, and feature durable quick-release, rechargeable, battery cartridges. The newly designed battery cartridges accurately measure charge level and display battery life using a 4 LED fuel gauge indicator, with a push of a button.

The CR2600 Charging Station charges both palm and handled bar code reader configurations and is available both with, and without, an embedded CodeXML® Modem. Embedded modem Charging Stations feature a paging button to assist in locating readers.

The disinfectant ready housing and IP65 sealing of the CR2600 reader prevents plastic degradation and securely protects electronics and optics. The CR2600 is both rugged and durable an ideal for applications in 24/7, 365, high traffic environments.

With an aggressive scan engine, the CR2600 decodes bar codes faster and features patented technologies including dual field optics and glare reducing technology. The result is unequaled, unmatched bar code reading performance.
